Our Location

We are located in the rugged mountains of southeast Haiti at 5280 feet elevation. Getting here requires a drive of 3-4 hours from the capital city of Port-au-Prince. The weather here is never hot, but mild and often cool, so we are spared some of the pests and bugs that are common at lower elevations. Although freezing temperatures are rare here, we have seen frost that killed some gardens. From November to March is the dry cool season, and from April to October it can rain, and rain a lot!  People here have warm personalities and are our friendly protectors.  We have a flourishing church here in Oriani as well that is a joy to be a part of.
